Eagle Pointe Foundation's First Year Projects and 2021 End-of-Year Challenge
Good morning
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!
I write today to provide an update on the efforts of the Eagle Pointe Foundation, the 501(c)(3) charitable organization established in 2021 to promote environmental enhancement of our wonderful community through tax-deductible donations from individuals and organizations. I’m attaching our 2021 Report and End-of-Year Challenge; I would ask that you all review the report, print it out and post it on your respective village bulletin boards. It also is available on the website of The Golf Club at Eagle Pointe under the Partnerships tab. If we are able to acquire the stump grinder and tree spade through the end-of-year challenge, we would make those pieces of equipment available upon proper request of individual villages within the Eagle Pointe Community. Together, we can facilitate the removal of unsightly stumps and save thousands upon thousands of dollars. The tree spade would be available to transplant trees which have grown up in no-mow areas. This would improve the work of the landscape crews and allow replacement of trees removed due to disease or death. These pieces of equipment will be stored and maintained by The Golf Club at Eagle Pointe, which also will be able to use them for the benefit of the golf course.
Please make your villages aware of the Eagle Pointe Foundation, its accomplishments to date, and the end-of-year challenge. If donation is within your means, please consider giving to this most worthy effort.
